+How do I prep for my tan?

• Shower, shave, and exfoliate prior to coming in. 

+What do I wear?

• You may wear as little or as much during your sunless tan application as you wish.  Keep tan lines in mind before your session begins.

• Men are asked to wear shorts or swimsuit during their application (this does not apply to our VersaSpa Pro Automated Booth)

• It is best to wear dark, loose fitting clothing home from your appointment as well as flip flop type footwear.

• The cosmetic bronzer can rub off on light colored clothing, although it does wash out.

• If you plan on sleeping in your tan before your initial shower it’s best to wear long sleeves and bottoms to avoid skin to skin contact.

+Post Tan Instructions

• Avoid getting wet or working while the tan is continuing to develop.

• Avoid exfoliating during the week following your spray tan.

• Moisturize your skin after your first shower and continue to do so thereafter.  We recommend using one of our tan extenders to extend the life of the tan.

+I’m very fair, will the tan look natural?

• Yes, our solutions adapt to every skin tone for extremely natural results.  If you are very fair, we suggest starting with a lighter shade your first time.

+Will my spray tan protect me from the sun?

• No, we recommend using an SPF while out in the sun.  We carry several options that are safe to use with your spray tan.

+ Why do some sunless tans become patchy when they fade?

• The DHA in all sunless solutions react to the amino acids in your skin and create a bronzed effect.  As your skin natural sheds, the tan will start to fade.  Some areas of the body will exfoliate off quicker than others, therefore some areas may start to look patchy or speckled.  This has no correlation with the airbrush technician or the solution.  If you notice this, you can gently exfoliate the affected areas.  This tends to be a little more noticeable when you go significantly darker than your natural skin tone.

+My skin is peeling, can I get a spray tan?

• We do not suggest getting a tan if your skin is peeling due to sunburn.  The tan will peel right off with the peeling skin.  We suggest waiting till peeling has stopped.
